Is it a full moon?

After this episode yesterday, I figured Miss A had enough of being stuck in small spaces.  Apparently though I was wrong.  This morning she got herself stuck again:

What's your favorite candy bar?

I asked Carlos this question recently and he replied that Snickers is his favorite, so as a treat to him I decided to attempt to make Snickers Cupcakes.  After googling some cupcake recipes, I came across one for caramel cupcakes and I thought that pairing that with chocolate buttercream frosting and peanut pieces would hit all the key parts of a Snickers bar!  Here is the finished product :

Although they tasted great, the cake was denser than I anticipated so the cups were not full enough!  The buttercream frosting is a perfect pairing for the pound cake like texture of the cake and the peanuts add a little texture. 

This Sums up the Morning

Somehow she got herself in the oven of her play kitchen and then got stuck. Being a good mother, I first had to get the photo before I helped extricate her from the situation :) She then proceeded to close herself in our microwave cart. I guess she's not claustrophobic!

More Sugar & Spice

As promised, here are a few more photos of my beautiful girls.  Miss A had a wonderful time exploring one of the parks in the Metroparks system here in Dayton. 

Miss M, however, wasn't so sure about it. 

She's much happier being wrapped up snugly at home!

Spring is Here!

Spring is finally here which means the girls can get outside and enjoy some of the nice weather! We went to a local park and discovered this wonderful Butterfly Bench that Miss A couldn't get enough of... it was one of the only places where she would actually sit still!
