31/365 - SNOW DAY!!!

Because of the slush we got yesterday, we didn't end up quite as much snow as was forecasted but we did get a good amount! Both Miss A & Miss M had a blast playing in the snow, although each had their difficulties with it.

Although the snow totals weren't as much as expected, we did have some good sized drifts and Miss A wasn't really prepared for that...

Miss M just didn't know quite how to move in her snowsuit and so she frequently wound up like a beached whale at the bottom of the slide...

And Miss A discovered that she can eat snow - but then rapidly discovered that it was COLD!!

More photos will come tomorrow - and I will probably be posting some of my more artistic shots over on EKC Photography!

Starting Out - 1/365

For a while I've been thinking that I should start the 365 day project - essentially take & post a least 1 photo each day for a year. Looking at the photos I've taken lately, I have started to see that fewer & fewer photos are for me and instead are for clients of EKC Photography. While I was debating taking on the project, my good friend Janice posted on her blog that she was starting the same project so that has inspired me to start it too! (Thanks Janice!!)

So here is day 1/365.

I'm in business!

I was finally able to find some time to devote to getting my business website up & running. As a result, I decide I should probably order some business cards to help promote my business!

As a mother of a 2 year old, usually "Moo" is the answer I get to what sound a cow makes, but Moo is also a great printing company! The best part of ordering from Moo is the flexibility you can get with the images on your cards. You can use as many different images as you would like. I settled on 6 different images for the front of my cards, and then did a custom design for the information side. They even come in a great holder!

So if you need business cards (or greeting cards, postcards, stickers, etc) check out http://www.moo.com. Oh, and don't forget to check out my new site for EKC Photography!
